Britain's Southernmost Inn

Your hosts Debbie and Jason Manton offer a warm welcome to the Top House Inn, situated in the heart of Lizard Village on the Lizard Peninsula. The 200 year old Inn is the southernmost inn in the UK, and is set within walking distance of Lizard Point - mainland Britain's most southerly location.

Operated under new hands as of November 2025, complete with new chef and menu, join us to usher in a new era of stewardship! Our first change is to ensure that dogs are now most welcome (well tempered and behaved in public spaces). Bar open daily as normal - please enquire for food/availability.

Food & Dining

We serve a full menu of classic ‘Good Pub Grub’, freshly prepared by our experienced chef using locally sourced ingredients wherever possible. There’s something for everyone, with vegetarian and vegan options available. If you have any allergies or special requirements, just let us know when booking and we’ll be happy to help.

Our Sunday lunches are not to be missed — hearty portions, a cosy roaring fire, and a glass of your favourite tipple… the perfect way to spend a Sunday.

Drinks

We serve a great range of drinks to suit every taste. Enjoy St Austell’s finest ales, ciders and lagers, perfectly poured Guinness, and a carefully chosen selection of wines. You’ll also find an impressive line-up of spirits, including local favourites like Tarquin’s and Curio, alongside all the well-loved premium brands.

We have a selection of 8 luxurious guest rooms available, doubles and kings, all ensuite, some of our rooms even have wonderful sea views!

Dogs are welcome in 6 of our beautiful rooms, while we keep 2 pet-free.
